Smokin' Joe Frazier had left the world but has made a very deep impression on the face of the earth. He was one of the faces that you will not forget when mention the word boxing. Let us honor him today to commemorate his contribution to the sports that almost all of us loved.
Born on January 12, 1944 Joseph William Frazier was an undisputed world heavyweight champion of all time. When you are here on our country you will almost always hear the word "Thrilla in Manila" if you are boxing fan. This bout with Muhammad Ali has been the all time favorite of Filipino and Americans alike. Smokin Joe was leading the score on this bout but his trainer thought he will die if he goes on to continue the round.
He died on November 7, 2011 but has left a legacy and an inspiration to some of our new breed of boxers on this day and age. Smokin' Joe you're now gone but we have not forgotten all the glory you have made.
