Website is almost done!

www.yifi-iloilo-city.com

The website is almost done. I'm so happy to be able to do this, although I'm not that sure if everyone appreciates the efforts I have done with this website. I must admit I'm just an amateur in doing websites, but I will do my best to make this website presentable and easy to understand. I hope it could go places and I hope I could market or at least let the whole world know that our little solid group exist and that anyone who sees this website will be encouraged or support our group. Maintaining this will be costly but one of the reason why I started this website initially is to gain funds for the continued operation of the website and funding for YIFI group as well.

All our reports will be presented on this website specially regular meetings, schedules, financial reports etc. It will also showcase the talents of our YIFI member in writing articles. I will be featuring their works as I continue developing the website. After this website I plan to make a new website for our church itself. Think of this as a sneak preview of the main website that I'm cooking up in the future. I also hope I can get full support of the Parish Council at the time when I will be starting the Parish Website. The Parish website could turn into a fund raising activity as we could reach our parishioners all over the world.

A Sad Day for Boxing - Smokin' Joe Frazier

Smokin' Joe Frazier had left the world but has made a very deep impression on the face of the earth. He was one of the faces that you will not forget when mention the word boxing. Let us honor him today to commemorate his contribution to the sports that almost all of us loved.

Born on January 12, 1944 Joseph William Frazier was an undisputed world heavyweight champion of all time. When you are here on our country you will almost always hear the word "Thrilla in Manila" if you are boxing fan. This bout with Muhammad Ali has been the all time favorite of Filipino and Americans alike. Smokin Joe was leading the score on this bout but his trainer thought he will die if he goes on to continue the round.

He died on November 7, 2011 but has left a legacy and an inspiration to some of our new breed of boxers on this day and age. Smokin' Joe you're now gone but we have not forgotten all the glory you have made.

Pacquiao vs Marquez III Prediction

November 12, 2011 will the day that all Manny Pacquaio fans have been waiting for. This is a rubber match between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez, on their first two matches Manny Pacquiao earned a win and the other match was a draw. Marquez claimed that Manny should have lost in those two matches but I bid to disagree. His claims are very far from the reality. Although Manny only got a split decision on their last bout, I do believe that he dominated Marquez by knocking him out a few times on the floor. I would be silly to say that Marquez really won when he was the one kissing the canvass after all the explosive punches of the number one pound for pound king.

But its all in the past, right now they are ready to tackle on their third fight and from the looks of it Marquez doesn’t stand a chance. I predict a knockout win for Manny Pacquiao on the 4th round of this match. The odds are not in favor for Marquez but he is still a dangerous fighter. He still has his counter punching tactics which proved to be a nuisance in Manny Pacquiao’s style. Style makes fight they all say and this is why this sport event will be interesting to watch and the money you will spend to watch this will be all worth it, that I can assure you. Manny Pacquaio’s aggressive style of boxing is a good match for Juan Manuel Marquez’s counter punching.

I believe that Manny can win this fight with ease and I sure hope that the Megafight between Pacquaio and Mayweather will materialized next year.

A new look! Is it time for a CHANGE?

I have been very meticulous in changing the theme of this particular blog of mine. I hope that I will stay with this theme for a long time. It seems that I could not get the perfect template for me or the right theme that I want. Every template has its PROS and CONS. Maybe it would be best if I study CSS or Javascript so that I can edit the template codes and get the results that I like.

I have decided to stay with this template now no matter what because changing it any further would deplete the purpose of this blog. This will be a diary of my daily engagement in life. I hope that you will be here reading this blog until I finally complete the navigation of the website. Please bear with me for a while. I don't have the luxury of time to blog all day but I will try to share my explorations with you.

Next on blog list will be the things I have learned in doing SEO. After deciding to study SEO it was placed on hold for a couple of months. I lack the enthusiasm to continue during those time but now my interest has gotten stronger. My only wish is that someone would teach me how to daugie, I mean teach me how to SEO. :) There are so many things running into my mind, YIFI websites, starting out as freelancer and many others. See you again tomorrow for some updates!

Julie Anne San Jose - Love This Girl's Voice

A friend on Facebook shared this video to me. I'm not really into opening videos posted by my friends but I was really glad that I did open it. I got to hear the best song ever and it was sung by Julie Anne San Jose. Didn't know this girl up until now, this video will hit around 3 million hits by next week. I gotta tell you this girl has talents and she can go all the way to the top.
